Here&#8217;s what changed.<\/p><h2 class=\"text-text-100 mt-3 -mb-1 text-[1.125rem] font-bold\" data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:49;326-374\">Solid mode by default \u2014 a faster first render<\/h2><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:432;376-807\">Until now, the scene opened in Technical mode (flat shading with silhouette edges). It looks great, but on large models and weaker GPUs it comes at a cost. As of 0.1.1, the default is Solid \u2014 the cheapest mode to render, with no edges and no anti-aliasing. The model appears sooner, and if you prefer the technical look it&#8217;s a single click away under <strong>View \u2192 Render Style<\/strong>. You lose nothing, and the first impression is smoother.<\/p><h2 class=\"text-text-100 mt-3 -mb-1 text-[1.125rem] font-bold\" data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:55;809-863\">Remove Outliers \u2014 clear the scene of stray elements<\/h2><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"11:1-11:275;865-1139\">You know the situation: an export from your CAD\/BIM tool can drag along elements placed by mistake kilometres from the building \u2014 duplicated copies, survey points, forgotten annotations. These artifacts inflate the model space, break <em>Fit to View<\/em>, and slow navigation down.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:414;1141-1554\">The new <strong>Remove Outliers<\/strong> tool (<strong>Performance \u2192 Scene Cleanup<\/strong>) finds them automatically based on element density. Inspectra computes the model&#8217;s centre in a way that&#8217;s robust to these artifacts and suggests a radius beyond which everything is treated as an outlier. You can change the radius freely \u2014 a live counter shows how many elements will be removed, so you see the effect before you commit to anything.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:277;1556-1832\">The removal is permanent (the scene really does slim down, and <em>Fit to View<\/em> frames the building again), but nothing is lost: Inspectra remembers which models you removed elements from, and the <strong>Reload Models<\/strong> button reloads just those files, restoring their original state.<\/p><h2 class=\"text-text-100 mt-3 -mb-1 text-[1.125rem] font-bold\" data-sourcepos=\"17:1-17:43;1834-1876\">Colour point clouds by height (Z) \u2014 new<\/h2><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"19:1-19:201;1878-2078\">Point clouds now have a new elevation-based colour mode: instead of a flat colour, each point is shaded by its Z coordinate, mapped across a gradient from the lowest to the highest point in the cloud.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"21:1-21:549;2080-2628\">It&#8217;s a small change that makes a cloud instantly readable. Vertical structure jumps out \u2014 storey levels, ramps and slopes, kerbs and deck edges, terrain relief. A level floor reads as a single uniform band; a slope, a step, or settlement shows up as a clean shift in colour. It&#8217;s especially useful when a scan arrives with no colour information \u2014 typical for many SLAM and TLS exports \u2014 turning a flat, monochrome mass into a legible, information-rich view with no extra work. Exactly what you want when the thing you care about is relative height.<\/p><h2 class=\"text-text-100 mt-3 -mb-1 text-[1.125rem] font-bold\" data-sourcepos=\"23:1-23:56;2630-2685\">Attributes Audit \u2014 wildcards and exception tolerance<\/h2><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"25:1-25:52;2687-2738\">The attribute audit module gained two big features.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"27:1-27:390;2740-3129\"><strong>Wildcards in names.<\/strong> In both the property set name and the property name you can now use <code class=\"bg-text-200\/5 border border-0.5 border-border-300 text-danger-000 whitespace-pre-wrap rounded-[0.4rem] px-1 py-px text-[0.9rem]\">*<\/code> (any sequence of characters) and <code class=\"bg-text-200\/5 border border-0.5 border-border-300 text-danger-000 whitespace-pre-wrap rounded-[0.4rem] px-1 py-px text-[0.9rem]\">?<\/code> (a single character). For example, the condition <code class=\"bg-text-200\/5 border border-0.5 border-border-300 text-danger-000 whitespace-pre-wrap rounded-[0.4rem] px-1 py-px text-[0.9rem]\">*_ElementType<\/code> checks whether an element has any property whose name ends in <code class=\"bg-text-200\/5 border border-0.5 border-border-300 text-danger-000 whitespace-pre-wrap rounded-[0.4rem] px-1 py-px text-[0.9rem]\">_ElementType<\/code> \u2014 regardless of the prefix that different tools happen to assign. No more typing out every naming variant by hand.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"29:1-29:690;3131-3820\"><strong>Exception tolerance, with a justification.<\/strong> In practice, 100% of elements rarely meet a requirement \u2014 sometimes you knowingly accept a handful of exceptions. Now you can record that: switch on <strong>Allow exceptions<\/strong>, set the number of non-compliant elements you&#8217;re willing to tolerate, and enter a justification. A model whose shortfall stays within the limit is marked as <em>passed<\/em> in the report. Importantly, your justification travels into the report (the <em>Audit conditions<\/em> section in HTML and a header in Excel), so every exception is documented in front of the client. Per-element scoring and 3D colouring are unchanged; the tolerance applies only at the whole-model pass\/fail level.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"31:1-31:378;3822-4199\"><strong>Conditions panel in the report.<\/strong> The HTML report gained a collapsible <strong>Audit conditions<\/strong> section that documents exactly what was checked: property sets, properties, the depth of the check (Exist \/ Boolean \/ Number \/ Text), an explanation of the wildcards, and the exception tolerance that was applied. Whoever receives the report knows straight away what the numbers mean.<\/p><h2 class=\"text-text-100 mt-3 -mb-1 text-[1.125rem] font-bold\" data-sourcepos=\"33:1-33:40;4201-4240\">Minor UX touches in the audit dialog<\/h2><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"35:1-35:290;4242-4531\">While we were at it, we polished the audit settings window itself: the <strong>Run Audit<\/strong> button is now disabled until you&#8217;ve added at least one file and one required property (a hint tells you what&#8217;s still missing), and a permanent note on wildcard syntax now sits below the requirements list.<\/p><hr class=\"border-border-200 border-t-0.5 my-3 mx-1.5\" \/><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" data-sourcepos=\"39:1-39:178;4538-4715\">Inspectra BIM 0.1.1 is available to download now. As always \u2014 a per-user installer, no administrator rights required.
