{"id":827,"date":"2026-08-12T20:21:01","date_gmt":"2026-08-12T18:21:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspectrabim.com\/?p=827"},"modified":"2026-08-12T20:21:37","modified_gmt":"2026-08-12T18:21:37","slug":"inspectra-bim-0-9-2-release-notes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inspectrabim.com\/pl\/inspectra-bim-0-9-2-release-notes\/","title":{"rendered":"Inspectra BIM 0.9.2 \u2013 informacje o wydaniu"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"827\" class=\"elementor elementor-827\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6234542 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"6234542\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4ee99be elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4ee99be\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h1>Inspectra BIM 0.9.2 \u2014 navigation that keeps its flow, geometry that stays whole, and a scene tree that scales<\/h1><p>A quality release shaped by heavy, real-world scenes: chained camera moves no longer pay a toll between them, a silent multi-threading bug that could drop parts of an element&#8217;s geometry is fixed, batch point-cloud imports take one decision instead of many, and the scene tree learned search and multi-select.<\/p><h2>Navigation keeps its flow<\/h2><p>While you orbit, pan or zoom, Inspectra quietly lightens the scene \u2014 point clouds thin out, tiny far-away elements drop, feature edges pause \u2014 and brings everything back when you stop. Two costs of that trade got removed:<\/p><ul><li><strong>A grace window between moves.<\/strong>\u00a0Full detail used to return the instant you released the button, so the way everyone actually approaches a target \u2014 scroll, grab, orbit, scroll again \u2014 paid a full restore\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0re-lighten on every hand-off. Detail now returns about 0.7 s after the last move ends, and a new move inside that window simply continues the same cycle. Clicking to select or measure restores the scene first, so picking always sees the full model.<\/li><li><strong>Scrolling over empty space, again.<\/strong>\u00a0On big models, each wheel tick with the cursor over the background re-ran a full-scene probe to find what was under the cursor (nothing was). The verdict is now remembered for the whole scroll burst \u2014 move the cursor or pause and it probes afresh, exactly as before, minus the stutter.<\/li><\/ul><p>Nothing about the navigation itself changed \u2014 same controls, same behaviour, fewer hitches.<\/p><h2>Multi-threaded loading could silently drop solids<\/h2><p>An element built from several solids in one body could come out incomplete: a hydrant modelled as eight extrusions and one revolve rendered as two stubs, while other viewers showed it whole \u2014 with the file fully standard-compliant. The cause sat deep in the geometry pipeline: with multi-threaded tessellation, the kernel&#8217;s fallback path for shapes its fast engine cannot build stops engaging, and the element returns with only a subset of its solids \u2014 reported as a success.<\/p><p>Inspectra now reads the conversion log after loading and re-runs exactly the flagged elements down the safe single-threaded path, swapping the result in only when it is more complete. The cost is negligible \u2014 under a second on a 575-element model with one flagged element \u2014 and models that quietly lost geometry now match the reference viewers triangle for triangle.<\/p><p><strong>One-time note:<\/strong>\u00a0cached geometry from earlier versions may hold the incomplete meshes, so the first open of an already-known model after updating rebuilds its cache. A moment, once per model, and everything is as fast as before.<\/p><h2>Decimate a whole batch of clouds in one decision<\/h2><p>Importing several LAS\/LAZ clouds at once used to mean answering the decimation dialog for each one. The dialog now offers\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Use this percentage for the remaining clouds in this batch&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 tick it and the rest of the queue loads without asking. It carries the\u00a0<em>percentage<\/em>, not a point count, so every cloud keeps that share of its own total. The choice lives only for that batch; the next import asks again.<\/p><h2>The scene tree learned search and multi-select<\/h2><p>Federations with dozens of files outgrew a plain list:<\/p><ul><li><strong>A filter box above the tree.<\/strong>\u00a0Plain text matches anywhere in the name, case-insensitively;\u00a0<code data-epitaxy-inline-code=\"\">*<\/code>\u00a0and\u00a0<code data-epitaxy-inline-code=\"\">?<\/code>\u00a0wildcards work when you want precision (<code data-epitaxy-inline-code=\"\">*.las<\/code>,\u00a0<code data-epitaxy-inline-code=\"\">STR-??-*<\/code>). A type dropdown narrows to IFC models, point clouds, meshes, terrain or alignment files \u2014 both conditions combine.<\/li><li><strong>Filtering hides rows, not models.<\/strong>\u00a0The 3D scene is untouched, and the visibility checkboxes keep working on the filtered view \u2014 filter to\u00a0<code data-epitaxy-inline-code=\"\">*.ifc<\/code>, untick, and you have switched off every IFC file in two clicks.<\/li><li><strong>Ctrl\/Shift multi-select<\/strong>\u00a0of files and elements. The right-click menu now acts on the whole selection \u2014\u00a0<em>Hide\/Isolate\/Show N elements<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 and selecting several files offers\u00a0<strong>Detach N selected files<\/strong>\u00a0in one go.<\/li><\/ul><h2>Get it<\/h2><p>Download Inspectra BIM 0.9.2 from\u00a0<a class=\"text-accent hover:underline underline-offset-[1px] outline-none hide-focus-ring ring-focus rounded-r2\" href=\"https:\/\/inspectrabim.com\/download\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">inspectrabim.com\/download<\/a>.
