Access: Ribbon → Analysis → MODELS → Quantity Takeoff
Builds a quantity schedule straight from the model:
- Computed from geometry: Volume [m³], total Surface [m²], Footprint [m²] — the element projected onto the ground plane.
- From model attributes: any quantity your models already carry (e.g.
NetVolume), found by name with wildcards, optionally scoped to a pset. - Extra columns: additional attributes per element (comma-separated names, wildcards allowed). Missing values export as empty cells.
- Duplicate protection: identical solids standing in exactly the same spot are excluded from the sums.
Output is an Excel workbook with three sheets: Takeoff (per element, incl. a Count column of 1s for easy piece-summing), Summary (totals per IFC class) and Duplicates (excluded twins). Model pickers support filtering by part of the file name.
