Which file formats can INSPECTRA open?+
INSPECTRA opens IFC (2x3, 4 and 4.3), E57 and LAS/LAZ point clouds, and BCF for issues. XML-based schedules import as data you can map onto elements.
Do I need an account just to view a model?+
No. The FREE tier opens and inspects models without signing in. An account is only required to activate licensed premium features.
Are my models uploaded to the cloud?+
No. INSPECTRA is a desktop application — your models stay on your machine. Nothing leaves your computer unless you explicitly export a file.
How large a point cloud can it handle?+
Hundreds of millions of points on a typical workstation. Density is streamed and decimated on the fly so navigation stays smooth even with billion-point scans.
Can I use it offline?+
Yes. After activation INSPECTRA runs fully offline, with a periodic online licence check during a generous grace period.
How do I reassign a license seat?+
In your account dashboard, release the seat on one machine and activate it on another. Floating seats reassign automatically when a session ends.
