REFUND POLICY
This policy explains how refunds and complaints concerning Inspectra BIM software licences are handled. It supplements the Terms of Service - in particular clauses 6 and 8 - and does not limit any right arising from them. In the event of any discrepancy, the Terms of Service prevail.
1. Who sells the licence and who refunds the payment
Licences in the Inspectra BIM store are sold and settled by Paddle, acting as the Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment, issues the receipt and the VAT invoice, and it is Paddle that returns the funds - to the same payment method used at purchase.
Irrespective of this policy, Paddle may issue a refund under its own buyer terms.
2. Sales to businesses only
Paid Inspectra BIM licences are offered exclusively to business customers (traders). We do not sell to consumers. Where the purchase is of a professional character for the buyer, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply - in accordance with clause 6.13 of the Terms of Service.
3. Check before you buy
Before spending anything you can test the software on your own hardware and your own models, without giving any card details:
- Inspectra BIM Free - free of charge and without a time limit, available to every registered account.
- A 14-day demo of the Audit and Edit modules - one per company, granted on request made from a business account.
The licence is made available immediately after payment, which is why the demo is the right moment to establish whether the tool suits your needs.
4. Right of withdrawal - trader with consumer rights
A natural person conducting sole-trader business activity, who concludes a contract directly connected with that activity but not of a professional character for them, has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving a reason (clause 6.1 of the Terms of Service).
It is sufficient to send the withdrawal statement to contact@inspectrabim.com before that period expires. The price is returned within 14 days of our receiving the statement.
5. Voluntary 14-day refund
Irrespective of the above, we voluntarily grant every business customer the right to a refund within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason. This is a commercial decision on our part, not a statutory obligation.
Once a refund is approved, the paid module licence is deactivated and the account returns to Inspectra BIM Free.
6. How to request a refund
Write to contact@inspectrabim.com from the address used at purchase, quoting the order or receipt number from the confirmation message sent by Paddle. You may also reply directly to that message.
We answer without undue delay, as a rule within 14 days. Returned funds usually arrive within 3-10 business days, depending on your bank.
7. Software not in conformity with the contract
If the software does not work as described, report it to contact@inspectrabim.com. We first seek to bring it into conformity. Where that is impossible or would require excessive costs, and also where the lack of conformity persists despite our efforts, you may demand a price reduction or withdraw from the contract on the terms set out in clause 6 of the Terms of Service.
This right is not limited by the refund period described above.
8. No automatic renewals
Paid licences are sold as a one-time purchase valid for 12 months. Nothing renews automatically, we do not store card details and we do not take any further payment. We send a reminder before the period ends, and the decision to buy again is entirely yours.
9. Cases in which we may decline
We may decline a refund where there are indications of abuse, in particular repeated purchase-and-refund cycles, sharing a licence with unauthorised persons, payment fraud, or breach of the licence terms.
